Framing
All work is done in our Medford facility or our studio
With years of experience working with museums, artists and collectors, we can answer questions regarding what differentiates an original print from a reproduction and help customers identify different types of original prints, including etchings and engravings, lithographs, serigraphs, and monoprints. Understanding the differences between an original work of art and a reproduction helps when making decisions about framing and the need for museum-quality methods and materials.

Scanning
We produce high-resolution scans that are color balanced using state of the art X-Rite i1Photo Pro color calibration system to ensure the best capture of your painting, photograph, or frankly anything flat and clean. Prints are made using the industry’s most highly rated printers. Archival ink sets provide years of enjoyment. We can
print on a variety of fine art papers, and canvas. Because there is usually a need to apply adjustments to the scan for color accuracy, Jim can work with you one-on-one in his studio. Whether you are a film or digital photographer, or a painter or printmaker, we offer the ultimate in digital photographic imaging.
What do they say about us?
OTW helped me put the finishing touches on my Rogue River Cabin. I couldn’t have done it without Jim. Not only is he a great custom framer, but he is a joy to work with and has a beautiful energy. He hung rugs, installed sculptures and paintings, and has a tremendous sensibility of what belongs where. And I needed that help. He made my house a home. Jim is a pleasure. If you need taste, professionalism, and AAA craftsmanship, he’s the guy.

Shenk Design LLCr
I’ve collaborated with Jim for more than 30 years. Not only does he produce quality craftsmanship, he has an artist’s sensibility and a gentle way of offering creative artistic solutions. I know that when I bring in a piece to be framed – whether it’s my own artwork or a cherished family memento – he will elevate the presentation and bring it to life. Sometimes that means finding just the right materials, other times it may mean mounting the art in a way that will preserve it for years. He considers not just the framed piece, but also the environment in which it will live. He is a true partner in the creative process, and I feel so lucky to have On the Wall as a trusted and invaluable resource.
